Another day...

So, today is the 3rd annual "Military Appreciation Picnic" being thrown by the city for the base.  FREE FOOD!  Also get to hang with friends and socialize and have fun and what not.  Cool!

Out with the old, in with the new

As with evey year, this one is about to pass.  What do we, as a people, have to show for this year that we have used?  What do we, as individuals, have to show?  What have we gained?  What have we lost?  Where are we going?  What are we working towards?

Personally, I think that, as a country, we have lost much, are going to continue to give up more, and are headed towards disaster.  We've given up freedom in the name of security, given up security to pay for luxaries, and will soon have to give up luxaries to pay for necesaties which could have been paid in full a long time ago and leaving up extra for luxaries and security.

As for me as an individual, I've gained full-time employement, got a degree, and received credit card debt.  However, I've almost paid off my car and will be able to start working on my student loans and will be paying off my credit card.  Any tax rebate will go directly towards my CC.  I have extra money going to another account which will build up the funds I need to pay for a plane ticket to and from Kingman, AZ later this year.  Additionally, I'll have money building up for an emergency.  Hopefully, I'll be able to use those funds that will be building up to put towards a new car in a couple years.  ^.^  Yes, I have goals.  Yes, i have ambitions.  Lastly, I am open towards the idea of finding me someone.  Or, at least, someone to flirt around with and to hold.  Not sure if I'm ready for any long-term relationship.

TURKEY DAY!

Despite the title of this entry, I had NO turkey today.  But, that was because I CHOSE not to have any.  Yup, that's right.  I CHOSE not to have any turkey on this, the turkeyest of all turkey days.  BEHOLD MY POWER!  You, Turkey, have no power over me!  BUahahahahahaha!

We went to Quartz Mountain Lodge for lunch.  Good times.  :)  Visited with mi amiga today, yesterday, and when I first arrived into town.  Ooooh!  She, her b/f, and I are going to Lawton to go SHOPPING!!  I'm taking her to VS for her X-Mas gift.  Yup, we cool that way.  This trip is gonna be FUN!  And, of course, I will be taking mah crazy other amiga and mah adopted niece out to Applebee's tomorrow for dinner.  That should also be fun!!  Lots of talking and conversing should go on.  :)  I hope they are looking forward to it.  Lordy knows I am.  If you couldn't tell.

A new entry!

Hey!  I'm updating!  Aren't you surprised?  I know I am!  I don't get on the computer too much these days.  But that may be changing soon.  I may be going back to being the evil computer nerd I once was.  Cool, no?  Yeah, I sure thought it was too.

Well, looks like that Mizz Krazy and I won't be doing or yearly trip.  :(  However, at least Mizz Kitty and I should be hitting up Lawton.  I sent Mizz Krazy a message asking if she would still like to go on a "trip" to Applebee's or something.  That way, we can at least go out, have fun, and still say we went on our yearly trip.  YAY!  Hope she takes me up on that.  Then I get two trips this year!  Each one going on a trip with just one close comrade.  HAPPY DAYS!  So, I'm looking forward to both potential trips.  These Black Friday trips are always something for me to look forward to.

In other news, my room mate and I have been excercising.  I still ain't good.  Or even close to it.  But I am getting better.  Speaking of which, we are about to head out.  So, ciao!

Just a post with no reason to be here

This is a post that was made without any real reason, just a desire to make a post.  Anywho, went out to eat last night with L. Angel and Mr. Encyclopedia.  Was a good time, actually.  We went to the Outback and had good food.  Much fun was had.  At least, on my part.  Me thinks that Mr. Encyclopedia got annoyed a bit, though.  Aftewards, we hung out at their place until they had to get to bed.  I headed home and blew some time on bF2142.  Getting rather decent at that game.  Score!  Went to bed shortly after midnight and slept in until 1030-ish.  Man, it felt great getting that much sleep!  I needed it, this week has been draining.  Anywho, wasted more time on BF2142, then got the car washed and picked up some surprise items for mom's 50th.  Came home, ate, and wasted more time on BF2142 while Mr. Goofball yaked on the phone to some person of unknown origin and unknown location.  (AKA - None of my business.)  Finally turned on the boob-tube to watch TV.  L. Angel never did contact me today like she said she would.  Eh, oh well.  Figure she was busy.  Hope she was able to go with Mrs. Krazy and Cool.  They had hoped to go to some fancy dancing event of a thing-gummy along with Mrs. Krazy and Cool's husband.  I'll have to ask her tomorrow.  Well, technically that would be today...
